about our events |   | Dress for Success Lackawanna has grown so much over the past years. With one Full- time person on staff and a group of dedicated volunteers we were able to provide 358 women with beautiful suits for interviews. Each woman was invited back after finding employment and fitted with at least another 3 to 4 outfits to get thier working wardrobe started. All of our clients spend at least an hour with their own personal shopper showing them how to mix and match thier new wardrobe, finding the perfect shoes and handbag to go with their new attire. The rewards of knowing this program is helping each client over another hurdle in trying to make a better life for themselves and their families is why this program is so important to all of us.
Each year our Luncheon and Fashion show is our major fundraiser and each year you our supporters are there for us making it a huge success. In 2007 we had 309 guests this year we would like to fill the room with 400, so we are asking you all to call a friend tell them what a great time they will have and what a great program they will be supporting.
