Dress for Success, an international non-profit organization celebrating its 10th anniversary, is encouraging women nationwide to donate one new or nearly new interview suit during the week of March 11-17 to help another woman enter the workforce.
During S.O.S. - Send One Suit - Week®, women can bring their suit donation to any dressbarn store. dressbarn, one of America's premier specialty retailers of women's casual and career fashions, has been the national drop-off site and title sponsor for S.O.S. Week for five years. To date, more than 99,000 suits have been donated by consumers through dressbarn during S.O.S. Week. To find your local dressbarn store, visit

The Style Network and the VIACTIV Brand are also national sponsors of S.O.S. Week.
"Donating one suit enables another woman to attend a job interview with confidence and take the first step towards economic independence," said Joi Gordon, Chief Executive Officer of Dress for Success Worldwide. "Last year, we saw a 57% increase in S.O.S. Week donations, so we are calling on women across the country to make 2007 another record-setting year."
Suits collected at dressbarn stores during S.O.S. Week are distributed to the 70 Dress for Success affiliates in the U.S. On average, more than 30% of Dress for Success affiliates' annual suiting needs are met through S.O.S. Week donations.
Highlights of the 2007 S.O.S. Week include:
- The premiere airing on March 12 of a special Dress for Success episode of How Do I Look? on The Style Network
- Mini-makeover consumer events featuring The Style Network "Style Bus," outside dressbarn stores in St. Louis and Nashville (Visit

- Public service announcements featuring Finola Hughes, host of How Do I Look?, on The Style Network
- Hundreds of corporate suit drives to supplement the consumer collection at dressbarn stores
- Continued donation of $0.50 for each VIACTIV Soft Chews freshness seal mailed back to the makers of VIACTIV Brand Products, with a commitment donation up to $100,000.
